Memorandum of Cooperation is signed today in Bishkek in the field of energy between the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and Alstom Holdings (France).
The delegation headed by Ambassador of France to Kyrgyzstan Stefan Katta was received by Vice Prime Minister of the KR Valery Dil, who thanked for the interest of a global leader in power generation and rail infrastructure.
"I hope that our cooperation will be continued and soon we begin the detailed discussion of the memorandum," said V. Dil.
The Memorandum is signed by Deputy Minister Kubanichbek Turdubaev and Vice President Alstom International Network for Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus Philippe Romyu.
This memorandum is aimed at development and implementation of projects in energy sector, attracting financing for energy projects, technical and technological support projects, as well as introduction of new technologies of Alstom in developing and implementing projects, including in nature preservation.
The Memorandum also provides for development of projects of the fuel and energy complex, including construction, reconstruction and modernization of enterprises on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
