Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry may send a note in connection with the statement of the Minister of Culture of Kazakhstan about Kyrgyzstan, sources in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Kabar Agency.
"We have no official information yet. This relevant department is working on it. We will give the appropriate response to the Minister of Kazakhstan such comments about Kyrgyzstan. Maybe we'll make a statement or send a note. After all, this person holds a public office in Kazakhstan and he should not talk like that," said the source.
Recall that the Kazakh media reported that the Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan Arystanbek Muhamediuly regretted Kyrgyz girls cleaning toilets in Moscow. Talking about the work of Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov, he said what he feels when he sees Kyrgyz citizens employed in low-skilled labor abroad.
"Chingiz Aitmatov is not only a great writer, but also a prophet who foresaw where his country, his nation is going. Indeed, the negative events that, unfortunately, occur in Kyrgyzstan, he could feel and was able to describe already in the 40-50-ies. Indeed, there is nothing to hide, its very pity, when you arrive in Moscow and in other cities and see that young girls, our neighbors clean public toilets. How could she deserve this in her young beautiful age to clean public toilet? Of course, when there is no work prospects, many Kyrgyz were forced to leave," said Muhamediuly at the reporting meeting with the population in Astana, answering a question about literature, the Kazakh media reports.
