The number of patients admitted to the national clinical infectious diseases hospital with measles has decreased slightly, hospital representative said.

If earlier about 150 people with suspected measles were admitted to the hospital, now the figure is less than 100.

"For example, yesterday, 81 persons with suspected measles addressed us, 43 people were hospitalized," he said.

Most patients come from the city of Bishkek and Chui region.

Bishkek and Chui region launched a national immunization campaign against measles and rubella. The campaign will run until March 28.
