Finland will allocate Kyrgyzstan EUR 208,500 for the supply of equipment for geological organizations. This became known at a meeting of the Board of Directors between the State Agency for Geology and Mineral Resources under the Government of Kyrgyzstan and the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) under the project "Strengthening of natural resources for the national welfare in the Kyrgyz Republic."
According to the press service of the State Geology Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic, a meeting was held from 1 to 6 December this year in Espoo (Finland). Deputy Director of the Geology Agency of the KR Ulanbek Ryskulov and chief of the information resources department of the agency Zinaida Shabolotova took part in the meeting. During the meeting they discussed issues concerning further implementation of the project "Strengthening of natural resources for the national welfare in the Kyrgyz Republic".
As a result of the event an agreement is reached on supply of equipment for geological organizations of the State Geology Agency of the KR totaling EUR 208,500.
The project "Strengthening the development of natural resources for the national welfare in the Kyrgyz Republic" is designed for 3 years, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland plans to allocate more than EUR 1.5 million for its implementation.
