Heavy snowfall covered Kara-Kulja district of Osh region on 25-28 November. The snow depth reached from 70 to 90 cm, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
As a result, some roads leading to several villages were closed.
In particular, the roads were closed to the villages of Sharkyratma, Buiga, Konduk, Kyzyl-Bulak, Terek-Saz and Konokbai-Talaa. The snowfall also broke off electricity wires in the villages and Konduk and Buiga.
The situation in the area was brought under control of Minister of Emergency Situations Kubatbek Boronov.
Earlier, the Myrzake-Karakulja-Alaikuu road was closed to traffic due to snowfalls.
