Chess player from Kyrgyzstan leads in standing of Chess Championships Open in UAE

The city of Sharjah, UAE, hosts the international chess tournament Sharjah Capital Of Islamic Culture Chess Championships Open, where Kyrgyzstani Semetei Tologontegin is leading in standings following six rounds of the tournament.

The championships has gathered 46 athletes, including 6 grandmasters, 3 international masters, and 9 FIDE masters. The games are held in 9 rounds.

Tologontegin is the leader of the national team. According to the results of the first six rounds, he has 5 points and leads in the standings.

In the 7th round, Tologontegin will play against the chess player from Egypt who has also 5 points in his asset.
