Kyrgyz sportsmen won three medals at the World Uni Fight Championships in Russia, head coach of the Pankration Federation of Kyrgyzstan Urmat Asanbayev told AKIpress.
The tournament was held in the town of Medyn (Russia) on November 10-17 with the participation of more than 150 athletes from 35 countries.
Kyrgyzstan was represented by four athletes.
Ulan Emilbek uluu (men's 70 kg) and Takin Jakshylyk (men's 90 kg) won silver medals.
Nurzamiddin Pazylov (men's 65 kg) won the bronze medal.
Another representative of Kyrgyzstan was disqualified for using forbidden motion.
