The Ministry of Social Development and the National Institute for Health and Welfare of Finland will launch a project on the capacity building of the social workers in Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry's press service said.
Deputy Minister of Social Development Jyldyz Polotova said that the project aims to attract international expertise for the improvement of the quality of services provided to the socially vulnerable groups.
The Ministry is making reforms in the sphere of services for the people with disabilities, she added.
Work on the project will kick off later this month and will complete in late-2016.
Presentation of the project was heard by representatives of the International Commission of the EU in Kyrgyzstan, UNICEF, GIZ, the Parliament, and others.
