Astana hosted the third international rhythmic gymnastics tournament “Zhuldyz” from October 17-18, a young Kyrgyzstani athlete won the gold medal, coach Sabina Akkulakova told Sport AKIpress.
Nargis Usupova won the Goblet of Zhuldyz and the gold medal in the tournament.
Other Kyrgyzstanis girls Karina Sapaeva, 6, and Arina Bublikova, 7, won silver golds.
Regina Myaksheva won a bronze medal in the competition among the masters of sports.
The team Kyrgyzstan of 20 athletes was led by three coaches: Sabina Akkulakova, Irina Storcheva, and Victoria Osorova.
The tournament has gathered more than 400 athletes from 9 countries: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria, Israel, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
“The competition was held at a very high level,” noted Akkulakova.
