Japanese pianist Yaeko Himeno and violinist Kakeru Yano performed music by Kyrgyz composers during a concert in Tokyo (Japan) on October 12, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
In particular, they performed compositions by Atai Ogombayev (Esimde), Abdylas Maldybayev (Kimge Aitam), Kalyi Moldobasanov (Kyzdyn Yry), Turganbai Moldogaziyev (Ak Shoolan Chachsan), and Muratbek Begaliyev (Sagyndym).
The Japanese artists also played well-known classical melodies of Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Poland and the United States.
The concert was organized under support of the Japan Association of Classical Music and the Kyrgyz Embassy in Japan.
