 Minimum subsistence level in Kyrgyzstan makes around $100 in Q2 2014

The minimum subsistence level in Kyrgyzstan made 5,011 som (around $99) in the second quarter of 2014, the National Statistical Committee reports.

The minimum subsistence level per capita for working age population in average makes 5,605 som. For men this level makes 5,780 som, for women – 5,584 som.

The minimum subsistence level for retirement age population makes 4,468 som in average, for children – 4,254 som, including 3,764 som for children aged 0-7 years, 4,422 som for children aged 7-14 years, 4,836 som for minors aged 14-17 years.

The highest subsistence level is observed in Osh region – 5,225 som, in Batken region – 5,227 som, in Bishkek – 5,006 som.

The subsistence level is as follows in other regions of the country: Jalal-Abad – 4,943 som, Issyk-Kul – 4,599 som, Talas – 4,929 som, Chui region – 4,929 som.
