In Kyrgyzstan women's participation in extremist activities intensified. From the beginning of the year, 145 women - active members of radical, extremist organizations have been detained. Head of a department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police colonel Ryskulbek Dzhaparkulov said at a press conference at Kabar Agency.
According to his words, women together with men have active propaganda of radical ideas, create a women's groups. If in 2005 the proportion of women in committing extremist crimes was 1.1%, then in 2014 it increased by 23%.
In addition, the colonel said that extremist organizations have intensified their propaganda among the youth, spreading agitation materials from the Internet.
