President Sooronbay Jeenbekov will pay an official visit to Turkey in the near future, the Kyrgyz leader said accepting the credentials from Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in the Kyrgyz Republic Cengiz Kamil Firat.
He said that the visit will give impetus to bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
"During an official visit to Turkey, I will meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, we will discuss cooperation issues on the agenda. I hope that the relations between our peoples will be further strengthened, "Jeenbekov said.
The Turkish Ambassador expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and said that he was happy to be appointed to Kyrgyzstan, where he feels like in the second homeland.
"Now we are working on your forthcoming official visit to Turkey. In addition, it is expected that the Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries will be held in Bishkek. All this contributes to improving and raising the bilateral relations of our countries to a new level," the ambassador said.
