Minister of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic Uran Akhmetov delivered a lecture for students of the International University of Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Ministry of Justice reported.
During the lecture, the students learned about the main activities of the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic and the stages of implementation of projects within the framework of the State Program Taza Koom.
Uran Akhmetov also told the students about the measures taken to increase the legal culture of the population. He stressed that every citizen in Kyrgyzstan has the right to access to free legal aid, which is provided through a system of state-guaranteed legal aid.
In addition, the participants learned about the activities of the Centers of Free Legal Aid opened by the initiative of the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic.
"Currently 20 centers are providing legal consultations across the republic”, the Minister said.
