Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic Mirlan Omuraliev with the assistance of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Korea held a bilateral meeting with Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Security of Korea Shim Bo-Kyun, the press service of the State Committee reported.
During the talks, Shim Bo-Kyun said that he was well informed about the development of the Taza Koom program and assured that South Korea is ready to actively assist Kyrgyzstan in the successful implementation of this project, as well as in establishing and developing e-government in the country.
Omuraliev, in his turn, spoke about the developed concept of Taza Koom the digital transformation program and about the implementation of 18 short-term projects. In addition, he said, large-scale events were held with the participation of international organizations, donors and large financial institutions.
As a result of the meeting, a ceremony of signing a draft Memorandum of Understanding between the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communication of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Security of the Republic of Korea in the field of e-government development was held.
Shim Bo-Kyun emphasized the possibility of participation of potential Korean companies in digital projects in Kyrgyzstan, and also expressed the hope that today's conclusion of the Memorandum in the field of electronic development will allow to expand the obligatory cooperation of the two countries.
