Kyrgyzstan will receive 105,000 doses of influenza vaccine for more than $1,300,000, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported.
The respective agreement has been signed between Deputy Minister of Health and a chief sanitary doctor of Kyrgyzstan Oleg Gorin, representatives of the World Health Organization's Regional Office for Europe and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the U.S.
Kyrgyzstan will be provided with expendable materials for vaccination and training of medical workers.
The Ministry of Health earlier planned to buy additional doses of flu vaccine for 81,000 people in 2017-2018. In 2016, more than 80,000 people were vaccinated versus more than 180,000 people in 2017, the report said.
