Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev met with representatives of the first business mission of the United States of America, which included representatives of several major American companies, the press service of the President reported.
During the meeting, the Head of State warmly greeted the representative first US business mission and thanked them for coming to the country, which shows the growing interest of business and private investors from developed countries in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
Atambayev stressed the importance of establishing direct contacts with representatives of American companies that are leaders in their sectors and have a good reputation and rich experience in various fields to study opportunities for cooperation and joint implementation of mutually beneficial projects.
Answering the questions, the head of state stressed that much is being done in the country to create favorable conditions for doing business and ensuring transparency of all processes. "Kyrgyzstan is already becoming a paradise for business, a free country where one can invest and earn big money, working honestly and transparently," Atambayev said.
The President discussed with representatives of transnational companies the prospects for interaction and intensification of contacts between the business circles of the two countries, taking into account the opportunities that are available in Kyrgyzstan thanks to participation in the integration processes in the Eurasian space and the status of the increased preferences of the GSP + provided by the European Union.
Representatives of Baker & McKenzie LLP, General Electric, AGCO Corporation, members of the American-Kyrgyz Business Council established in 2016, as well as major companies such as Coca-Cola , Visa Inc, AES, John Deere took part in the meeting.
