The youth in Bishkek is looking for a job via Internet - 39.4% of young people have done so, Baktybek Usupbekov, Head of the Employment Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Development said.
This is explained with improvement of web-sites of governmental and private enterprises, he said during a round table held yesterday referring to the findings of the labour market study.
It turned out that the prevailing way of job search is through friends, relatives and familiars.
The number of citizens giving job search announcements has reduced. Their number made 11.5 % in 2016, 12% in 2015, 32% in 2014.
The number of ads by people willing to start up their business has also dropped: from 23% in 2014 to 8.8% in 2016, Baktybek Usupbekov said.
