Minister of Higher Education of Afghanistan expressed the desire of cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in the field of higher education.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Avazbek Abdurazakov met with Minister of Higher Education of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Professor Farida Mohmand on April 26, 2016.
During the meeting the sides discussed the state and prospects of the Kyrgyz-Afghan bilateral relations in the field of higher education.
Minister of Higher Education of IRA Pr. Farida Mohmand expressed the interest of the Afghani side in expanding bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan in the field of higher education, signing an agreement on cooperation in the field of higher education, training students and graduate students of Afghanistan at Kyrgyz universities to receive Master’s degree and PhD.
From his part, Kyrgyz Ambassador Abdurazakov assured Minister of Higher Education, Pr. Farida Mohmand that the Kyrgyz Republic has a good potential for training Afghani students in higher educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan in various fields.
