The government allocated 60,754,300 soms (about $805,489) to the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan for conducting scientific studies on 7 projects in 2015, said the press service of the Academy on February 12.
The allocated funds were 1,239,700 soms (about $16,436) more than the money spent in 2014.
Also the staff of the Academy carried out researches for the grants on 29 international projects, the total funding of which amounted to $814,500.
The Academy, in total, conducted 56 projects, including 7 projects on budget basis, 18 – on contract basis, 29 – for international grants, added the press service.
