"27% of pupils in Kyrgyzstan use gadgets, we intend to launch the e-books," said Minister of Education and Science Elvira Sariyeva on January 28.
The Minister noted that schools in the country are provided with 75% of necessary books including the old editions.
"The books are in a poor condition, many textbooks are outdated. It is necessary to develop specific mechanisms to provide schools with textbooks. There are international donors willing to provide support in this regard," said Vice Prime Minister Gulmira Kudaiberdiyeva.
