Starting from from July 1, 2019, trade of electricity will be carried out both under free bilateral contracts and a new market segment - centralized trading of electricity, including the day ahead trading, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tair Mansurov said.
At the same time, a mechanism for the settlement of hourly deviations of actual supply of electricity from the planned ones will be introduced for boosting of responsibility for following the set schedules.
It is expected that the mutual trade in electricity will increase by 1.5-2 times already at the initial stage.
Electricity exports outside the Eurasian Economic Union will increase to 30 billion kWh and load generation capacity will increase by 7%, he said.
