Officers of the Main Criminal Investigation Department under the Interior Ministry arrested members of an organized crime group that have stolen over 200 thousand som ($3,292), as well as are involved in 13 other thefts.
The press service of the Interior Ministry recalled that the theft of 200,000 som occurred on December 23, 2014 in the village of Kyzyl-Suu (Jety-Oguz district), when 4 masked men entered a house through a window and seized cash from the owner using physical force.
On February 3, the search operation on the territory of Bishkek allowed to arrest K.M. and D.T., both 27-year-olds, who've been repeatedly tried for theft and illicit drug trafficking under the Criminal Code.
The above-mentioned persons have committed a series of thefts in Chui and Issyk-Kul regions.
Investigation activities are being continued.
