Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Djoomart Otorbaev in the framework of participation in the first session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council met with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov.
During the meeting Otorbaev noted that Kazakhstan is one of the main economic partners of Kyrgyzstan.
The sides noted the need to increase trade between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, creating necessary conditions.
The two sides also discussed Kyrgyzstan's entry into the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as activities in reflected in the roadmap for accession to the Customs Union and the Eurasian Economic Community.
Massimov noted that Kazakhstan is ready to continue to assist the Kyrgyz side on entering the EEU.
