Kyrgyzstan and China in talks to create joint development fund. Economy Minister of the KR Temir Sariev told reporters.
"At the beginning of next month there will be a meeting of the National Council on Sustainable Development under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. In this connection, now we have started to conduct a series of meetings with the business community, with government agencies, will visit regions to meet with non-governmental sector, which form public opinion in the media. Thus, we want to make recommendations to improve the investment climate in the country, which will be offered to the Government at this meeting," said the minister.
Sariev told that, the government has an action plan to improve the investment climate in the country, which covers several areas.
"First, this is a legal framework, second - fiscal policy. Third - we want to transfer some functions to business community, through self-regulatory organizations. Fourth – we launch several projects, that is, we launch the Kyrgyz-Russian Fund for Development. Currently, we are also negotiating with China to establish a similar fund. We also define credit lines for exporters with the National Bank, in general, a number of activities carried out to improve the investment climate in the country," he added.
