School students from Osh City won three bronze medals in physics and computer science at the International Olympiad in Kazakhstan.
The event named after famous Kazakh mathematician, academician, professor Orymbek Zhautykov was held in the city of Almaty from 11 to 17 January, and attracted students from Russia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Mongolia and other countries.
Thus, Temirlan Ulukbek uulu won the bronze medal in physics, while Kadyrbek Narmamatov and Zarlyk Usubaliyev – in computer science.
In total, 60 teams from 15 countries participated in the competition. Kazakhstan took the first place in the overall medal standings, and is followed by Russia and Serbia.
