Minister of Social Development of Kyrgyzstan Kudaibergen Bazarbayev discussed with representatives of the National Assembly of Korea a possibility of providing financial support for reforms in medical and social expertise service of Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry's press service reports on December 29.
“Since year start, we began making reforms to the medical-social expert commissions that used to work on the principle adopted in the 30s of the last century,” said the Minister highlighting the intentions to improve employment opportunities for the people with disabilities.
$10 million are needed for Kyrgyzstan to implement projects aimed at improving employment opportunities for over 155 thousand citizens with disabilities, he said.
“The Ministry is currently working with partners on raising funds for such projects,” said the Minister.
The delegation of the National Assembly of Korea has expressed willingness to consider the possibility of giving financial assistance.
