he State Personnel Service of Kyrgyzstan held a conference on December 16 to discuss a draft code of ethics for state and municipal employees.
The meeting was opened by the State Secretary of the Personnel Service Bakytbek Sagynbayev. He recalled that the draft ethics code was previously considered at three round table discussions with the participation of representatives of state bodies, local self-governments and non-governmental organizations.
“Development and adoption of this document is very important and topical within the reforms that are taking place in our country in the field of public administration,” he said.
Following discussion of the draft, the code of ethics for state and municipal employees was approved in general. The project will be submitted to the President's Administration for further consideration.
The conference was attended by representatives of President's Administration, Parliament, Government, experts of international organizations.
