A joint meeting of the Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs, the Council of Ministers of Defense and the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will be held in Moscow (Russia) on December 22.
The participants will consider the agenda of the forthcoming meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council scheduled for December 23 in Moscow, as well as the state of the CSTO crisis response system in the light of global and regional security challenges.
In addition, the meeting will focus on improving foreign policy coordination within the CSTO and organization's activities on development of cooperation in military and economic sector, fight against terrorism, counter-narcotics strategy of the CSTO, information security issues and staff training.
The Tajik side, which goes to the presidency, will present its priorities for the CSTO in 2015 to discuss.
The Collective Security Treaty Organization includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan. In 2014, the CSTO is chaired by Russia.
